Chrysler Canada Opens New Dealer in Ontario

The Canadian division of Chrysler today announced the opening of a new dealership in Strathroy, Ontario. The Dale Wurfel Chrysler Dodge Jeep dealer is located in Strathroy at the corner of Centre Road and Second Street and covers an area of five acres including the 15,000 square foot sales and service centre. It currently employs 30 people.

“We are very pleased to welcome Dale Wurfel to the Chrysler Dodge Jeep family,” said Reid Bigland, President and CEO of Chrysler Canada. “The enthusiasm, professionalism and competitive spirit of Dale and his team will make them a valuable addition to our organization."

"We are very pleased and excited to join the Chrysler Dodge Jeep family and we are dedicated to putting our extensive knowledge of the automotive industry and the Strathroy market to work," said Dale Wurfel. "Our progressive and dependable staff is committed to providing complete customer satisfaction. We will carry a large selection of new Chrysler Dodge and Jeep products such as the award-winning Dodge Ram pickup, the best-selling Dodge Grand Caravan, and the legendary Jeep Wrangler."

Chrysler last week opened seven new UK dealers and confirmed that another six will be appointed by the end of the year. The new dealerships are Chrysler Stevenage, Chrysler Bishop's Stortford, Chrysler Hertford, Lancaster Southend, Triangle Chesterfield, Sunwin Derby and Drayton Chrysler Jeep & Dodge Shrewsbury.

“The confidence generated by the levels of profitability is evident by our appointment of 11 new dealers in the past three months. These new dealers are from both existing partners expanding with their Chrysler representation and new partners joining our franchise for the first time," Federico Goretti, Chrysler UK managing director, said in a release.
