Fiat has had mixed success with the rebranded Chrysler Group models it sells in Europe. The Fiat Freemont has been a decent success mainly due to the fact that it’s priced extremely competitively in Italy and comes with all-wheel drive. But the Chrysler 300-based Thema sedan is a different story.
While there’s nothing wrong with the Lancia from America, it might suffer from an awareness problem.

Now, some new rumors have surfaced according to which there will be a Lancia Thema Coupe, based on the current Chrysler architecture. The architecture has already been shoehorned into the Dodge Challenger coupe, so it’s feasible. However, don’t expect the Challenger in Europe, as the shared Lancia/Chrysler language will be used.

The report is filled with Alfas, Chryslers and Maseratis, but all we’re concerned about is if Fiat has the money to bring another car into production. The situation in Europe isn’t exactly rosy for them after all!

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
