After Chrysler made the 300 sedan ready for the gritty streets of Gotham city, it’s time for the American automaker to put its stamp on anther movie car.
Total Recall will air August 3rd in America, starting Colin Farrell and the ultra-sexy Kate Beckinsale and Jessica Biel. When a man goes to virtually live out his fantasy, an unexpected turn of events follows, as he discovers unknown powers and a wife that’s out to kill him.
As with any Sci-Fi film, there are a fair few advanced machines involved. An army of police robots soldier their will onto the world, and cars no longer require wheels, as they levitate.
These flying cars in the movie are Chrysler-branded, but the automaker says we shouldn’t live in a fantasy world: “the year 2084 is a long time to wait for an exciting driving experience.”
So they offer us the Chrysler 200 Convertible instead, which is supposed to be just as fun as the unreal flying machines. Yet the only similarity you’ll see is the winged logo/badge. Still, this should be a good movie!
