Chrysler 100 Mule Spotted in Santa Monica

The Chrysler 100, which is supposed to be the smallest vehicle in the American manufactures' lineup, was spotted a few days ago driving around in Santa Monica.

Actually still an Alfa Romeo Giulietta-based mule, like the one seen in some spyshots last year, the hatchback was caught on video by an Autoblog reader Zach Dillman.

Official unveiling or release date are still a mystery, but we do know that the Chrysler 100 will be a Ford Focus-sized offering that, according to Fiat, is supposed to debunk the "myth about hatchbacks not being sellable in the US".

The future Fiat CUSW Dodge Dart platform-built Chrysler is said to come with four-cylinder engines and possibly a V6 powerplant for its range-topping models.

And by the way, at the end of the video there's also a supposedly Jeep Liberty mule. We don't know what's it doing on the streets, since the company went on to replace it with the Cherokee for 2015.
