Chrome Mercedes GL500 Is a Monster

If you want to take lots and lots of your friends on a motoring adventure in a car that looks like it’s been designed out of quicksilver, there’s probably nothing else out there that comes close to this car.
It’s the Mercedes Benz GL500, the previous generation model, fitted with the “Mammut” widebody kit from ART Design, a German tuner. This adds anew front skirt, larger fenders, a rear skirt, a 100mm sports exhaust to make the big V8 sound better and lightweight 22-inch alloy wheels.

The Mercedes GL is among the largest car’s we’ve ever seen chromed, and we have to say that it doesn’t have much. Sure, you can take it to the clubs and back, but during the day it looks like a child’s shiny toy. ART GL500, we dub the “The Chrome Monster”!

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
