Despite having been replaced by the SLS, the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren is one of the world's most fascinating sports cars. It gets even better when the people that constantly think perfect isn’t good enough, Brabus, by letting customers f the SLR further individualize their vehicles. However, some Arab millionaire billionaire gentleman has gone a step beyond that and has chromed out his example.
We wouldn’t have know this fact were it not for the efforts of Youtube user Marchettino, who seems to always be at right time in the right place. This amazing chromed SLR even has metallic tint on its windows, and those wheels are perfect for it. It seems that the arab owner of the car has also brought some equally rich friends along, as we spotted the stunning new Koenigsegg Agera R bach there.
The SLR sits on Brabus Monoblock VI 20-inch alloy wheels mounted on high-performance Pirelli or Yokohama tires in sizes 255/30 ZR 20 and 305/25 ZR 20.
In terms of mechanical changes, the power tuning for the supercharged 5.5-liter (335.5 cu. in.) engine consists of special camshafts, a fuel cooling system and a high-performance exhaust that increase the power output of the V8 compressor engine by 24 hp to 650 hp at 6,500 rpm.
Thanks to all that German grunt, the SLR storms to 100 km/h (62 mph) from rest in just 3.6 seconds and reaches a top speed of up to 340 km/h (211 mph).
We don’t know what’s inside the car, but give that Brabus has had their hands on it, it all depends on the owners wallet. Regardless, there should be a sport steering wheel with integrated buttons for manual shifting of the SLR’s automatic transmission, carbon-fiber on the dashboard, center console and door trim somewhere in there. What if it’s all been chromed out inside as well?
