Perhaps this is the reason why Tony Rock found it appropriate to joke about the type of liquor he enjoyed before he was busted for DUI. He was on his way out of lockdown yesterday afternoon when the guys from TMZ managed to interview him for a few minutes.
The comedian hasn't lost his sense of humor even if he had to pay a $5,000 ticket for his deed. However, we can not refrain from saying that the reporter form TMZ was kind of ironic with Tony asking him "uncomfortable" questions.
He even suggested that the comedian got drunk to attract some attention as he is always overshadowed by his brother. But Tony denied such scenario saying that he has only been at a party and had some fun. That's it.
Still, the reporter went on asking if he still has some good jokes, again pointing about his bro's fame. Without seeming offended by the irony, Tony answered calmly that "he has some good stuff".
What's more, the irony went even further. The reporter continued to ask him whether he had called his brother to tell him about the incident. "No...not yet," Tony answered with a smile again.
"How about some drinks tonight?" asked the reporter. But it seems that one DUI was enough for Tony Rock as he hadn't planned some drinks that night.
To be honest, we appreciate that the comedian manages to keep the sense of humor even in situations like this, but we highly suggest him to be more careful about driving under the influence next time.
