But as famous bikes in the history of the cinema are a treat for the super-rich, recent movies might be a more suitable source of affordable, yet pedigree-confirmed special bikes.
In case you're a fan of dinosaurs, too, you'll be thrilled to learn that the Triumph Scrambler Chris Pratt rode to battle in Jurassic World will soon be listed on eBay.
Those who fancy riding a motorcycle that went to war against the bad guys in the same team with the good dinos will have a chance to bid on it starting this Thursday, the 23rd of July. The proceedings of the sale will go to The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride international events in which Triumph also has a major involvement. Obviously, the money will help the DGR raise more awareness and funds for medical research.

Why is this bike important as a collector's item, some might ask. Well basically because this is the only of the three Scramblers prepared for the Jurassic World that will be sold.
One Scrambler is on display at the Triumph headquarters in England and will remain part of the museum, while the second bike was given to Chris Pratt. It's hard to believe he'll let go of it now, especially as he knows that the bike's value will only increase with time.
We might see Pratt's Triumph Scrambler up for grabs in other charity auctions, but most likely after its uniqueness and "unobtainability" will increase its value. Ready your checks for this Thursday and by all means, go watch the movie!
