It's safe to say that the Mercedes-Benz MFA (Modular Front Architecture) platform is a resounding success, with each model based on it selling in record numbers in 2013.
The CLA is arguably the prettiest Mercedes-Benz on the MFA platform, while its 45 AMG version represents the smallest AMG sedan you can currently buy.
Considering that the CLA 45 AMG uses a front-wheel drive-based 4Matic system, you could say that it doesn't exactly have the most fun-inducing type of traction. As a matter of fact, most reviewers who have tested the car so far have said that at the limit it delivers a melange between the understeer of a front-driven car and the stability of an all-wheel driven one.
None of them managed to send enough power to the rear wheels in order to powerslide the CLA 45 AMG through a corner until now. On the other hand, not all of them are Chris Harris, as it can be easily observed in the very short Drive video bellow.
