Chris Harris certainly wasn't among the first journos to wield the steering wheel of the Lamborghini Huracan Performante and yes he's the one tons of aficionados have been waiting for. So what does the Brit think of the spiced-up Bull?
Well, for one thing, Harris couldn't help himself and dropped more than one Porsche comparos in his track stint - the journalist got to hoon the Huracan Performante on the Knockhill Racing Circuit, so the supercar couldn't keep anything secret.
We're talking about a tight British track and we know that those caring about the technicality of the circuit come in much fewer numbers than the fans who want to know the answer to a crushing question: did he drift it?

For one thing, the Performant incarnation of the Huracan has enough of a spoiler. Keep in mind that V10 animal packs ALA (that's Sant'Agata Bolognese's active aerodynamic system). Nevertheless, given the kind of speeds the said circuit limits a car to, the otherwise serious downforce asset delivered by the said hardware can't really be put to the test.
As expected, the 5.2-liter heart of the Lambo receives its fair share of praise from Harris. Truth be told, it's amazing how Lamborghini managed to hold on to natural aspiration in this era of forced induction and hybrid propulsion.
That's right - the Brit does get to use each and every one of the mid-engined animal's 640 ponies, with this obviously resulting in a glorious soundtrack.
Nevertheless, the majestic voice of the Huracan Peformante has to be witnessed in person, with the decibel experience delivered by the machine deserving a special place in the garage that is our heart.
