Chris Harris may have said goodbye to his Youtube channel about one month ago, but the British journo seems to still keep his old flame burning, as his most recent update demonstrates.
As the piece of footage at the bottom of the page shows, Harris recently had some giggles in the Dodge Viper ACR. Of course, the official excuse for this was drifting the track-savvy snake, obviously for Top Gear - truth be told, there's a delay of a few days between the video that has now shown up on Chris Harris' channel and the full feature that was already on the TG website. And since Top Gear won't allow for the embedding of their videos, we've had to wait for this piece to talk about the stunt.
Regardless, seeing Harris doing his slip angle thing on the Dunsfold Aerodrome (you know, Top Gear's test track) should be enough to get enthusiasts' hearts racing.
And since the man is now on Top Gear, the added drama couldn't miss. To be more precise, we're talking about a comparison involving a naked Donal Trump sitting inside a Corvette - to stick with the politics theme, we suppose Joe Bidden, who's crazy about 'Vettes, is probably against such comparisons.
The Brtish journo admits he hasn't manhandled a Viper in 15 years, which obviously determined him to expect a blue collar feeling behind the wheel.
Perhaps this humongous expectation gap is what has determined Harris to act against his love of Porsches and recommend the Viper ACR as a half-the-price and in "a different league as a track car" alternative to the GT3 RS.
Even if you check out the slightly longer clip on the Top Gear website, you'll notice that this is an overly short track stint. Then again, since it provides the right ingredients, we won't complain.
