Chinese Wheel Clamp Too Small for Ferrari

It seems that the wheel clamps used in the city of Guangzhou, from the Guangdong Province, China, are just too small to fit over and around the large (and wide) rear wheels of an old Ferrari 360 Modena, which was parked inappropriately and had no number plates.

Apparently, wheel clamps were not used in China until a few years ago, but it’s clear that they have a lot to learn, since many new cars sold in China (the more luxurious ones, that is) have very chunky and wide rims and tires and it will be impossible for Chinese cops to clamp their wheels.

While we do not approve of wheel clamps, a way of keeping drivers from getting too cocky with their parking spots is needed. Perhaps, wheel clamps aren’t meant for China and they should look elsewhere for ways of punishing drivers who park illegally.
