With less than a year for the current generation to remain on sale, as a third one is rapidly approaching its reveal at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, the smart fortwo is still receiving a fair amount of spotlight.
Daimler's Financial Services' Chinese subsidiary has recently received the Best Auto Finance Product award for the smart College Graduate financing program.
The award was given by Chinese finance magazine Moneyweek (Licai Zhoubao) and was handed over at the 2013 China Auto Finance Annual Conference and 2013 China Auto Golden Engine Awards Ceremony in December.
Launched at more than 100 universities across the Middle Kingdom in July 2013, the innovative smart financing program offers a more varied and flexible financing and credit support to both students and recent Chinese graduates in purchasing a smart fortwo.

Through our close collaboration with smart we were able to customize a finance product that is uniquely tailored to the university market place. smart as a leading brand in the automotive industry for pioneering innovative sales channels.” said Brian D.
