We don’t get any paychecks from Renault, nor do with a have a sworn duty to uphold their good name, but we have to say that what’s happening here has to be one of the most awful and blatant copy we’ve see in a while.

The production version of the Renault Zoe has only recently had its debut, at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show. It’s availability has not yet been extended to the whole European market, and already it’s been copied by a Chinese “automaker”. In fact, at just about every major show, you can spot some car spies crudely measuring stuff with their rulers and tape measures.

And when a major automaker tries to sue the copycats, they are hit by a giant brick wall of “this looks nothing like your car.”

This copy of the Zoe is built by Shenzhen Greenwheel Electric Vehicle and is called the JO EV.
