It's a known fact that China is receiving more and more special edition BMWs. It's all part of an effort to make the Bavarian brand more popular on the number one auto market of the world.
After the numerous limited edition BMW M3s launched over there, BMW decided it was time to release a 5 Series exclusive model, to make the model even more popular.
The weapon of choice will be a long wheelbase 5 Series called Supreme Sound Edition. The enhanced model will be released on June 23 and only 500 units will be made.
As the name suggests, the Supreme Sound Edition Bimmer will be equipped with a high-end Bang & Olufsen premium surround sound system with 16 speakers that gather up a total of 1200 watts of power.
The exterior of the car will also be special, as the cars will be fitted with a special 10-spoke set of alloys. The interior will be covered in Nappa leather and the engines will be the ones found on the 525Li, 530Li and 535Li models.
