When Bentley announced its 2011 sales, we were pleased to discover that their figures had risen past the pre-recession level and into new highs. Well, in the first quarter of 2012, it’s more of the same.
Strong demand from China has pushed their sales up 46.6 percent in the first three moths of the year compared to the same period in 2011.

Just three weeks separate us from the 2012 Beijing Auto Show, where the EXP 9 Concept will once again be show. Ad a clear trend has emerged in the region. China is now Bentley’s largest market.

Sales in China region increased by 84.9% to 578 cars.

“I am delighted that our first quarter performance has consolidated the growth we saw in 2011 and would like to welcome China to its new role as our largest market,” said Wolfgang Duerheimer, Bentley’s Chief Executive. “Bentley’s customers in China, as those elsewhere, value our emphasis on the finest craftsmanship and automotive engineering. They know that buying a Bentley is an unrivalled combination of luxury and performance.”
