Chicken Hawk Are Now Honda WSBK Team Official Technical Supplier

Chicken Hawk Racing Inc. has announced that it has partnered with Honda WorldSBK Team to be its official technical supplier for 2017. The company will provide its world-renowned Professional Series motorcycle tire warmers, and both parties have the intention to sign a multi-year agreement.
In addition to running Chicken Hawk Racing's tire warmers on the new 2017 CBR 1000 RR Fireblade SPs, the Honda WSBK Team will also use the company’s wheel insulators. All products will have custom colors and branding to match the team and its sponsors.

“The team evaluated our product at the last two tests, and we’re proud to say they saw an advantage to utilizing our Professional Series warmers,” said Chicken Hawk Racing founder David Podolsky. “Tires are developing so quickly and are such an important ingredient to winning, so proper preheating is crucial. Working with Honda WorldSBK Team Technical Manager Pieter Breddels, we’ll surely stay on the cutting edge of development.”

In 2007, Chicken Hawk Racing began selling tire warmers in Europe, so the alliance with Honda’s WorldSBK Team is a natural deal. Both of the squad’s world-championship-winning riders Nicky Hayden and Stefan Bradl have previously raced on Chicken Hawk-warmed tires.

The company has been founded in 1992 and specializes in industrial-grade electric heaters. The Red Hook, New York-based company designs, builds, and services the most rugged tire warmers for all types of motorsports - from world championship racing series to local track days.

Chicken Hawk Racing builds products for customers world wide and can accommodate 240v power and stocks power cords for many countries. Moreover, the company provides for all forms of motorsport, from karting, motorcycle road racing, and top fuel drag racing to circle track and auto road racing.

Since 1992, their tire warmers are designed, built and serviced in-house in New York CHR tire warmers are designed working with the Tire Engineers of Dunlop, Michelin & Bridgestone tires.
