Ever considered to give a Chevrolet Spark as a Christmas present to a loved one? If you have, then you must have spent countless hours thinking how you're going to manage to wrap it up as a proper gift.
Thankfully, the British division of Chevrolet is well ahead of you. The carmaker assembled a team of special gift wrappers (yes, there is such a thing) to take care of the messy business for you if you plan to turn the Spark into a gift.
Now, to introduce the service, Chevy even commissioned a study which shows how much time and/or money an average Brit spends to properly wrap something. In all, says Chevy, a total of 117.5 million hours and £1.65 billion will be spent in the UK on this operation.
Apparently, Chevrolet's study didn't take into account the number of people who actually plan to offer a Spark as a gift. If they had, then they might have realized their idea, cute and fuzzy as it is, will be pretty much worthless if only one or two customers ask for the service. In case you are one of those two people though, you can call 0207 100 9999 for more details.
“Everyone loves unwrapping presents. It’s one of the highlights that all of the family can enjoy on Christmas Day. For those lucky people who will receive a Chevrolet Spark for Christmas we wanted to do something a bit special this year to make the present opening ritual a bit more fun,” said Chevrolet's representative Les Turton.
“With so much time being spent wrapping and hiding gifts under the tree, we wanted to take the hard work away and provide a bespoke service that would make our customers smile.”
