It’s official – Chevy Spark commercials are among the strangest in the world, basically just as strange as the line this tiny car has carved through the world’s markets.
Most people in Europe would say that Chevrolet is a American carmaker, but most of the cars they sell overseas are actually designed or built in Asia.
When the Spark made its way to European shores in 2010, it was much the same story, not that we’re complaining about the looks. Eventually, the car made it to US dealers lots this year, featuring plenty of American pride for this diminutive machine and a new face.
So what about the commercial? This latest one features the famous bubble boy, stuck in a plastic bubble because he’s afraid to get germs or hurt. It also features a rabbit with horns, the jackalope of North American folklore. The horned fuzzy one busts bubble boy out and he is thus able to get into the Spark, which has 10 airbags. Happy ending!
