Chevy tried to pull a fast one on us by simply releasing a press release about they Geneva debuts and attaching a picture of the Cruze Wagon. But the car isn’t important solely because it’s got a big back end. No, this is the fresh grille design for the Chevy Cruze that will also be available in North America starting with 2013.
At first glance, the major changes made to the front end include horizontal slats for the grille instead of honeycomb. The bumper has also received a makeover, and now the lower grille has been replaced with a single integrated slat. The fog light surrounds have a triangular shape, a bit like a Camry.
Getting back to the Cruze Wagon that will debut in Geneva, this will be available in Europe with a five engines starting summer 2012. These will include the 1.4-liter turbo, a 1.7-liter and 2.0-liter diesel, and of course the 1.6-liter and 1.8-liter normally aspirated petrol units.
autoevolution will be attending the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, so stay tuned for some real up close and personal shots of the vehicles, as well as for first-hand details of the motorized contraptions presented at the event.
