Chevy Camaro Awarded to Super Bowl MVP

The Super Bowl is over, the Green Bay Packers won and that's about all she wrote when it comes to this year's event (adding, of course, Christina Aguilera's way of singing the national anthem). Now, one day after, it's time for us to take a look back and see what we got from the Packers' victory over the Steelers (31-25). What we got, however, is far less what the players of the two teams got out of it, though.

One of them, Aaron Rodgers, has more than one reason to be happy with the Sunday game's outcome. Aside for winning the Super Bowl and getting named most valuable player (MVP), Rodgers was also given a brand new, red Chevrolet Camaro.

The prize comes after NFP fans and a media panel voted him as the man of the game. Rodgers will also receive the Pete Rozelle Trophy, with which to adorn the special vehicle he won in a very special night.

”We think the new Camaro Convertible is a fitting tribute to that great performance last night,”
said Kevin Mayer, director of Chevrolet marketing.

The exposure the Camaro received in the week which precede the Super Bowl, during the event and immediately after is only a warm up for an expansion of the line. GM promised in recent days that it will bring to the Chicago Auto Show this week a new model built on the platform of the muscle car. More details are to be announced later this week (the Chicago Auto Show starts on February 9).
