As the stories goes, once upon a time (yesterday), Chevrolet unveiled a couple of very interesting but puzzling new concept cars at the Detroit Auto Show, the Code 130R and Tru 140S, both of which stood side by side with the new Sonic RS mildly hot hatch. Chevy sounded very convinced it would put both its new ideas into production and we wondered why.
Now AutoBlog comes to shed further light on the subject, as they say the plans to resurrect the Chrysler sporty image. Both concepts came bearing the cross-flag emblem, which has only been used on the Corvette for a long while now, but used to be featured on a number of other cars.

The car we’re really looking forward to is the next-gen Camaro that’s supposed to lose a lot of weight and shorten its overall length without reducing wheelbase... sort of like the Code 130R Concept. Funny how that works!

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
