The vehicles are powered by a 6.0-liter V8 engine that offers a combined gasoline & CNG driving range of over 650 miles (1,045 km). You can order one starting from Thursday, April 19, with the CNG option setting you back an extra $11,000, which means that the starting price for the vehicles sits at $40,100.

Joyce Mattman, director at GM Commercial Product and Specialty Vehicles, explains the benefits of using natural gas: “CNG has maintained a significantly lower retail price than either gasoline or diesel. The current average price of CNG is equivalent to $1.89 per gallon of gasoline. Customers could save $5,000 to $10,000 over a three-year period, depending on their driving habits.”
