Chevrolet recently unveiled a video teaser of the future kit Manchester United’s players will wear for the next seven years. The deal was announced two years ago and will apply starting with 2014/2015 season. Entitled “The History of Manchester,” the video features different kits the British team had through the years from the 19th century to present day, having fans removing one shirt to reveal a newer one.
The fact that Chevrolet is going to take AON’s place in becoming the new shirt sponsor was announced in May 2012, and makes the American car manufacturer the fifth in the club’s history. Back then, a lot of controversy hit the market after Chevrolet had already signed a similar deal with Premier League rivals Liverpool, the same year.

The video teaser pictures legends such as Bobby Charlton and Denis Law alongside current football stars like Juan Mata and Robin van Persie. At the end of clip, Wayne Rooney speaks directly to the camera stating the shirts belong to the fans. Even though there have been some leaked images on the market, Manchester United has not yet unveiled their new 2014/2015 kit.

As one of the most successful clubs in English football, Manchester United is the third-richest one in the world for 2011-12 in terms of value, with an annual revenue of $537 million (EUR 395,9 million), and the second most valuable sports team in 2013, valued at $3.165 billion (EUR 2.327 billion). It is one of the most widely supported football teams in the world, having an estimated 659 million followers around the world.
