Chevrolet is introducing two brand new versions of the Sonic subcompact at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show. One of them is the Sonic RS sedan, which we’ve covered earlier today, while the second one is the production version of the Dusk concept that was revealed at SEMA two years ago.
Described as a vehicle that “bring sophistication and style to the subcompact market”, the Sonic Dusk features a unique ground effects package, a new rear spoiler, 18-inch aluminum wheels in matte Midnight Silver finish. Painted in an exclusive Ashen Grey Metallic with matte upper and lower grilles, the sedan sports Jet Black leather-trimmed seats with sueded microfiber accents and Mojave tan inserts.
Other updates include cold-air induction, lowered ride height, a brake package with Wilwood front calipers, while power is provided by a turbocharged 1.4-liter engine with high-flow exhaust rated at 138 horsepower.
The 2014 Chevrolet Sonic Dusk goes on sale next spring starting from $20,945 including destination and handling, but excluding title and license fees.
