Chevrolet MyLink Infotainment Making European Debut

Besides the global debut of the Cruze Wagon with its new face, and the two Gen Y concepts, Chevrolet has a technological debut planned for Geneva. This comes in the form of the MyLink infotainment system with smartphone integration.

This system comes with its own seven-inch, high-resolution, full-color touch screen in the center of the dash.

The first Chevrolet cars sold in Europe with MyLink will be the Cruze and the sub-compact Aveo, both of which will thus be updated starting summer 2012.

No announcement about the app that lets you start your car remotely yet. But it certainly would be cool to have the “remote control” car in Europe.

autoevolution will be attending the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, so stay tuned for some real up close and personal shots of the vehicles, as well as for first-hand details of the motorized contraptions presented at the event.
