Chevrolet Cruze UK Pricing Announced

The United Kingdom seems to be the El Dorado of the week for car manufacturers all over the world, as they keep on releasing their newest vehicles on the right hand driven market. Following the release of Volvo C70 Ice White and preceding the arrival of the new A4 at the end of March, GM released today pricing for the UK version of the Cruze.

The newcomer will have a base price of 11,545 pounds and will be offered with a four engine choices. Arriving in UK showrooms starting July, the Cruze will feature two petrol and two diesel engine versions. For the petrol versions, automatic transmission will also be available.

The lowest version of the Cruze available will be the 1.6 S, which develops 113 horsepower. The model's gadgetry and infotaiment system are made up of follow-me-home lighting, the plain and simple CD-radio system, electric front windows, six airbags, and ESC.

If you don't want sweaty armpits in the hot summer days to come, the 1.6S Cruze does come with air conditioning. For an extra 450 pounds (11,995 pounds, that is) you will get your air conditioning and a longer name for the the Cruze: 1.6S A/C.

What the manufacturer believes to be the best selling Cruze on the Island is the LS model. For 12,595 pounds you get the 1.6l engine vehicle, complete with air conditioning and even reverse parking sensors.

The flagship Cruze is the LT, which comes with either an 1.8l or a 2.0l diesel powerplant. Starting at 13,595 pounds, LT's standard features include cruise control, climate control, 17 inch alloy wheels and integrated GPS.
