Chevrolet Cruze CS Style Package Now Available

British customers now have an extended Cruze range to choose from, Chevrolet announced today. A new styling kit dubbed CS had just been added, offering race inspired looks and performance to the Cruze. The CS package comes with 18-inch white multi-spoke alloy wheels, lowered suspension, a boot spoiler, specific graphics and matching tailored carpet mats.

These specifications build on the existing standard features that include follow-me-home lighting, remote central locking, a CD-radio system with auxiliary input, premium interior plastics, electric front windows, six airbags, and ESC.

Chevrolet Cruze is offered with four engine choices, two petrol and two diesel, with an automatic transmission available for the petrol versions.

There are three trim levels available in the UK, namely S, LS and LT. The base level, S, has a base price of 11,545 pounds, while the LS offers air conditioning and even reverse parking sensors for 12,595 pounds. Finally, the LT starts at 13,595 pounds, and includes cruise control, climate control, 17 inch alloy wheels and integrated GPS.

The lowest version of the Cruze available is the 1.6 S which develops 113 horsepower, the same unit that is found on the LS as well. The LT, on the other hand, comes with either a 1.8l or a 2.0l diesel powerplant.

The CS will become available starting mid-July for all trim and engine variants of the Cruze and will cost you 1,595 pounds, including VAT and full fitment by Chevrolet retailers.

The Cruze had also been chosen by the Silverline Chevrolet team in the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship.
