Chevrolet Corvette C1 Official Tribute Clip

It seems to us that General Motors is willing to gather attention for the Corvette, as the company is working full throttle to develop the seventh generation of the car. The carmaker has recently released a video that takes us back to the roots of the ‘Vette.
The clip talks about the the C1 generation that started it all, with Harlan Charles, Corvette Product Manager taking us through a lot of details of the car. The executive starts with the 1953 show car and goes on to tell us about how the Corvette won the class trophy in the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

He also covers the initial Blue Flame engine, moving on to Chevy’s first small block V8 powerplants. And yes, the ‘Vette’s father, Zora Arkus-Duntov is also mentioned in the video.
