If you know your muscle cars, the fact that this widebody rendering uses the SS and not the ZL1 incarnation of the current sixth-generation Camaro as a starting point won't come as a surprise.
Not, this is not about the supercharger that sets the ZL1 apart from the SS. Instead, it has to do with the recent design history of the latter, which has been a bit troubled. You see, GM introduced a rather awkward facelift for the 2019 model year, with this being addressed via an emergency 2020 revision. Meanwhile, there are plenty of gearheads who would still nominate the ZL1 front fascia as the looker of the current range.

With that out of the way, we can talk about the general purpose of this transformation. It seems that this aero treatment is to the 1LE track package what the latter is to the standard SS.

No, there's no massive wing here, so the machine can at least partially blend in while driving through the city. Instead, we're looking at a wickerbill, a more common solution for muscle cars.

Nevertheless, there are plenty of other aero tricks here. The downforce revolution starts up front, where we get a splitter with side extensions. The styling of the latter falls in line with the design of the side skirt extensions.

Nevertheless, the real party trick comes from the lower rear apron, which gifts the Camaro with a diffuser and tailpipe setup worthy of a supercar.

Then again, it's impossible to miss the widebody of the machine, even though this does seem to follow the factory lines of the car. The Advan Racing wheels impact the appearance of the vehicle quite a bit, appearing to enhance the Chevrolet Camaro's sportscar side.

Now, you should know that the digital artist behind this stunt is called Karan Adivi and, for the record, this isn't his wildest take on a Camaro.
