Pony cars are slowly being shipped from North America to Europe and the first to really make a significant import dent is the Chevrolet Camaro. Right now, the European market is filled with Chevrolets that are designed or built (or both) in Korea. So to boost that American image that buyers in Europe are looking for, they added LED taillights and sent the Camaro packing to the old world.
In the UK market, filled with econoboxes and strange mpg figures, the Camaro coupe with a 6.2-liter V8 and a six-speed manual gearbox will set you back £35,025, while the convertible is £40,025.
Thanks to the 426bhp (432PS) on tap, the coupe will sprint from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 5.2 seconds, while the convertible needs slightly more at 5.4 seconds.
Meanwhile, if you go for the automatic transmission, you only get 399bhp (405PS), so the car will be 0.2 km/h slower.
