Chevrolet Bolt Lease from $309 a Month with Zero Downpayment in California

There are two battles currently going on in the EV segment: one is fought around who can offer the longest range, and Chevrolet Bolt's 238 miles have launched it straight at the top.
However, the ability to go longer (or further) on a single charge isn't everything, and so manufacturers are currently also trying to offer the best range to price ration. Well, we don't know more about Tesla's Model 3 than the fact it was promised to have a starting price of $35,000, but we find it hard to believe that it will be able to beat GM's offer once it comes out.

For all the commotion GM made about the car, it has recently become apparent that only two states will get the electric hatchback before the end of the year, and they are California and Oregon. The rest are expected to follow suit over the course of next year, but with production limited to 30,000 units, it remains to be seen whether Chevrolet will have enough to cover the whole country.

As you probably know, the base Bolt comes with an MSRP of $37,500, which goes down to a nice and rounded $30,000 after the federal tax credit is factored in. The Bolt also qualifies for the $2,500 CVRP mail-in rebate from the California Air Resources Board, so there's that to pull the price down as well.

If you feel like finding out what kind of lease plan you could get for a new Bolt, Leasehackr has come up with a calculator. Just for the sake of it, it also ran a best-case-scenario for the Bolt's base trim level, the LT, and the results are encouraging, to say the least.

It turns out that you can get GM's new EV with a virtually zero downpayment and only $309 a month, and the cost would go down even further if running costs compared to an ICE-powered care are taken into account as well.

It looks like GM keeps getting things right with the Bolt, but you can't escape the feeling that it's going to mess it up somehow at some point. For now, though, that moment does not appear in sight.
