It is with more and more sadness that we listen to pretty much any Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG rev its pretty little M159 heart out in recent months.
We say this because, as most of you know, the M156/M159 family of V8 engines is now in its final year of production and will be soon replaced by different versions of an all-new twin-turbocharged V8.
We're sure that the nutter in Affalterbach will work their exhaust sound magic with the new M177/M178 line of engines as well, but both experience and history tells us that there's nothing like the sound of a naturally-aspirated engine.
And there is nothing like the lion-having-a-cold exhaust sound of the AMG 6.2-liter V8.
The following car-spotting video is even further proof that if Thor was an engine, he would most likely reside under the long hood of one of these two SLS AMG's rev-battling in the center of London.
