Check Out the 743 HP Manhart MH6 700 in Action

Everyone’s extremely hyped these days about the new 2015 Dodge Challenger Hellcat and its 707 HP but most of them forget that those kind of numbers are nothing new to other manufacturers. Sure, it’s a big deal for Dodge and their engineers but in other corners of the world such numbers can be achieved from a lot smaller engines and without all this hype.

Case and point: the Manhart MH6 700, a car developed by a tuner, based on the BMW F13 M6. This monster has even more power from a smaller block and it’s not bragging about it all over the internet.

Using the same S63 engine from the Bimmer, with its 4.4-liter V8 block and two turbochargers, the guys took it way above its comfort zone into supercar territory. From 560 HP and 680 Nm (501 lb-ft) of torque, their creation now has 734 HP and 889 Nm (655 lb-ft) of torque and a completely new look.

What’s even more impressive is how that was achieved. All they did was change the ECU map, install a new Manhart Carbon Fiber intake and a new exhaust with valve control and 4 100 millimeter pipes. That’s it! And they didn’t make a big fuss about it either.

The 7-speed DCT transmission was kept and the suspension replaced with their own. As for the exterior mods, the car received a new hood with GTR vents, new front spoiler (lip included), trunk lid spoiler, rear diffuser, mirror caps and covers for the front skirt.

The result is a 2 ton beast that will tear up highway miles incredibly fast, as Shmee proves in the video below, taking it on an unrestricted Autobahn, in Germany. As you can notice, the extreme torque on the rear wheels causes them to break traction even at 180 km/h (112 mph). What are we talking about? They break traction at 270 km/h (168 mph)!!!
