Engine swaps on BMWs are pretty usual, especially when it comes to older models. However, when discussing newer ones, it's a whole different thing.
The E92 M3 is the last coupe version of the 3 Series ever to wear the M badge. Furthermore, it's the last M3 with a naturally aspirated engine, the upcoming F84 model and the M4 being fitted with turbocharged 6-cylinder units.

Most users though, go for supercharger kits and turbochargers to make the V8 4-liter S65 engine under the bonnet of the E92 more torquey. The guys from Manhart Racing had a different idea.

They simply took the S63 engine from a X6 M, stuck it under the bonnet of an M3 (along with a E60 M5 transmission), tuned it to over 700 HP and nearly 1000 Nm (737 lb-ft) and called it a day.

This monster was then put to the street to trash such cars like Ferraris, Lamborghinis and other so-called 'supercars' with supercar price tags. We found one for sale in Dubai and the one in the video below is a convertible (E93) and goes like hell, even around the Nurburgring, as you can see. Enjoy!
