The BMW E92 M3 might be out of production but for a lot of people around the world, it’s still the weapon of choice when it comes to drifting. Sure, some complained about its lack of torque but even that issue can be fixed.
Now that the M4 took its place in the production lines, the prices are also expected to go down, right? But what about the engine? It’s not nearly as capable as the 3-liter biturbo on the new models, despited being bigger.

Well, for that sort of problem the solution has been (for quite some time now) a supercharger kit. Sure, there’s also turbocharging but no tuner managed to create a solution that good that it has little to no lag. That leaves us with chargers.

In their case, lag is almost non-existent as they are powered by the crankshaft directly and rotate just as fast as the mill itself. ESS has more than enough of choices for you but for some special clients they are known to put together special kits.

The car in the video below belongs to Francesco Conti, a professional drifter from Italy that has been racing in the King of Europe Series for quite some time now. His first appearance took place in 2012 and he managed to finish 2nd back then, a truly impressive feat for a beginner.

Over the course of 2013, he managed to claim 7 podiums in 8 events, thanks to his supercharged car and eventually claimed his first King of Europe Title and his second European Team Title after the one won a year before.

Next year he will be racing with his E92 M3 once again but this time he’ll have 750 HP at his disposal to do with as he pleases. Until the King of Europe Championship kicks off, we can watch him warming up in the video below. Enjoy!
