This next story is funny for many reasons... unless you're the unlucky bastard who got caught cheating, of course. My favorite part is that it took place right in front of the Harrods store, where the bottom floor is often used to display the most exciting new luxury cars. Unless I'm mistaken, the Range Rover sat there about three years ago.
So anyway, not three days ago, a white Range Rover with a black roof was filmed by everybody with "Cheater," "It's over," and "Hope she was worth it!" spray-painted all over.
This love rat messed with the wrong woman and paid the full price. Clearly, she knew what would hurt him the most. But we wonder if the cheater in question wasn't in the department store buying a fur coat or a piece of jewelry with his mistress.
It's not the first such act of vandalism we've seen. From China to California, women know how to hurt pride and/or four-wheeled symbols of manhood.
For the record, this is a 16-plate car, so it's been ordered within the last few months. It used to be a regular Range Rover Vogue with a V6 diesel engine, but it's been fully customized, and we aren't talking about the spray paint. It's got bigger wheels, lowered suspension and an angry looking exhaust system, everything a Range Rover needs in order NOT to be good at off-roading. Also, it's got a comprehensive body kit from Rovere, who probably wish they hadn't sold it to this guy right now.
The BBC also picked up on the story and suggested it could actually be a TV network trying to promote a show. Two years ago, they pulled a similar stunt in New York for the Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce in the US. However, no station has claimed to be behind this paintjob assassination attempt.
