The thing with many female actresses these days is that Hollywood has a tendency to objectify the woman. One of the few ladies who haven’t made the compromise is Charlize Theron, a 40-year-old actress born in South Africa. After playing the role of Imperator Furiosa in Mad Max: Fury Road like a pro, Charlize is now gearing up for an even harder role: the antagonist in Fast 8, due to come out in 2017.
“Our crew will face its greatest adversary in our next film. Welcome Charlize Theron to the Fast family.” is the confirmation provided by @FastFurious. When will we get to see Charlize kick ass and blow things up in Fast 8? April 14, 2017 is the date to mark in the calendar. So what can we expect from her in Fast 8?

To put it plainly, nobody knows what will happen in the eighth installment of the franchise. Or the ninth (due April 19, 2019). Or the tenth (due April 2, 2021). Up to this point in time, the intel available on Fast 8 is slim and vague. For starters, Vin Diesel has confirmed on Jimmy Kimmel Live! that the movie will be set in New York. The director of the film is F. Gary Gray, who's known for The Italian Job (2003) and Straight Outta Compton.

Speaking of the remake of The Italian Job, Charlize Theron played a role in that movie as well. Other movies that popularized Charlize as an actress are the 2001 romantic drama Sweet November, the 2003 crime drama Monster, the 2005 sci-fi Aeon Flux (my favorite from the list), the 2012 sci-fi Prometheus, and the laugh-out-loud A Million Ways to Die in the West from 2014. The other baddie to look forward in Fast 8 is badass extraordinaire Jason Statham, a 48-year-old English actor who will walk in the shoes of assassin-gone-rogue Deckard Shaw.
