Charlie Sheen's Daughters Unhurt after Car Crash

Being the child of actor Charlie Sheen surely brings you to general attention especially when your life is at risk.  The "Two and a Half Men" star's two young daughters with ex-wife Denise Richards were involved in a car accident last Friday.

Fortunately, the girls, Sam aged 4 and Lola aged 3, were unharmed thanks to the safety features of the Mercedes SUV they were in, according to “The Insider”. The car, by the way, was driven by the girls' nanny.

The accident took place on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu around 3:30 p.m. when a Honda Civic made a turn in front of them, causing a four-car collision, according to law enforcement sources.  The only person injured was the driver of the Honda who was taken to local hospital for treatment.

Luckily the accident didn't turn into a tragedy: “It could have been much worse. They were in their car seats, and he is extremely grateful for the safety features from Mercedes," Sheen's publicist Stan Rosenfield said in a statement. No arrests have been yet made but the police is currently investigating the crash.

Charlie Sheen had a very agitated life, full of sexual scandals, drugs and relationships to women. He married actress Denise Richards in 2002, after having met her while filming Good Advice in 2001. In March 2005, Denise filed for divorce from Sheen although she was pregnant with Lola. The divorce was official starting with November 2006 and the two finally reached a custody agreement in the early 2008 but details were never discussed to the public.

Now Sheen is remarried to Brooke Mueller, a real estate investor who is expecting twin boys.
