The Chinese bike manufacturers are not only producing small-displacement machines, and the CFMOTO 650TR is a great way to prove this. If you're looking for a a nice touring motorcycle, the 650TR could be a worthy option.
With 60.3 HP, this 649cc parallel-twin beast looks like a really cool machine: a 6-speed gearbox makes sure highway speeds are easily attained, while the electronic fuel injection and ignition account for a modern feel. The ECU comes from Ducati, and the suspensions are KYB, by the way.

This bike comes with dual hard panniers and a medium-size windscreen, and is, in this respect, ready for touring. The 17.5-liter tank (4.6 gal) is pretty decent for long rides. No ABS is mentioned, but the dual 300mm front wave rotors and the 220mm rear one should provide more than enough stopping power.

The overall attire is quite modern, despite some strong resemblance with Honda's Deauville machines. If it rides as it looks, then the CFMOTO 650TR might be quite a decent asphalt tourer. No word on pricing, so you'd better drop the guys a line.
