Celebrity Owned Lamborghini Gallardo Gets Diesel-Abused

Probably the most embarrassing moments in a driver’s life are those when you lock your keys in your car, when you run out of fuel by mistake, or when you put the wrong type of fuel in your car. The last situation is the most costly, and one recent happening is here to prove that point.

Many of you know Bam Margera, the star of Jackass, and his purple Lamborghini Gallrdo, who has been ‘molested’ by his prank partners so many times so far. They have damaged the supercar’s gearbox in a series of unorthodox drifts and even cut a sunroof into it.

But we aren’t sure yet whether the latest mishap this Gallardo went through was another prank or simply an accident. Either way, we are talking about one of the most expensive car fueling we ever heard of.

Long story short: Bam Margera’s friend, Cleveland, took the Gallardo on a spin when he decided to fill the tank, as TMZ reports. And so he did, only he used the wrong type of fuel - diesel instead of gas. The damage is worth around $45,000, or at least this is what Bam claims on a Twitter post.

Naturally, the car had to be towed away. This is because the diesel fuel doesn't evaporate very well, the spark plugs thus have nothing to ignite, and the engine never starts.

But don’t start feeling sorry for Bam, as he’ll manage his way around town in a Murcielago, now that the Gallardo is temporarily impaired. You are allowed, however, to mourn the fate of a such a car in the hands of the Jackass crew...
