If you think that cars are only loved by those known as automotive enthusiasts, you’re wrong. A recent study demonstrates that a large part of the drivers develop a deeper relationship with their vehicle.
The research, which was perfected by NCP car parks in the UK ,reveals that almost half (43 percent) of Brits have given names to their cars, as Google News writes. The study included 3,000 drivers with ages between 17 and 45.
24 percent of those questioned choose celebrities name for their rides, 11 percent turn to cartoons, while 4 percent choose football players and three percent use politicians. The top three most popular names in the UK were “Betty, Bertie and Bob”.
Our say: does test driving cars count as cheating on our own rides?
