Rather shy of adventuring on grounds far away across the sea, British manufacturer CCM has taken a very important decision: they will be sending their CCM GP450 Adventure bikes to Canada.
The CCM GP450 Adventure is a top-notch dual-sport machine engineered for both asphalt and dirt and despite the KTM-ish looks, it is powered by a BMW engine. The 4-stroke thumper delivers in excess of 40 HP at 7000 rpm and 42.80 Nm (31.6 ft.lbs) @ 6500 rpm, and is equipped with high-spec titanium valves.
A 5-speed manual gearbox with chain drive makes the CCM GP450 Adventure speed up to 145 km/h (90 mph). The bike comes with a dry weight of 130 kg (287 lbs), with a bonded aluminium frame, (watch the video after the jump), a 47mm USD adjustable fork, and Brembo calipers squeezing 320 and 240mm rotors for the front and the rear, respectively.
Tons of accessories are l with the CCM GP450 Adventure, from panniers, to HD cameras and electronic suspension adjustment. According to CMG, the CCM GP450 Adventure might make it to Canada in Q1 2014, for $12,000 (€8,720) MSRP.
