Yesterday we confirmed that Valentino Rossi would make a spectacular appearance at the 2015 Goodwood Festival of Speed. More than simply attending, he also said his Yamaha YZR-M1 would accompany him, as he intends to ride it in the Hillclimb race, and maybe even get behind the wheel of some cars. Upping the ante we can now reveal that more stars of the motorcycling world will make their way at the Festival of Speed this year.
A very rare presence in such popular events, Casey Stoner WILL, however, be present at the Festival of Speed, and he will ride a MotoGP Honda RC213V. Whether he will be one of Rossi's opponents in a motorcycle race is yet uncertain, but since it's the 1st of April (and we are not telling any lies), please bear with us. The last time Stoner attended the FoS was back in 2006.

GP stars of the '80s are expected, as well

The Festival of Speed will also host Freddie Spencer and Kenny Roberts, both arriving with the bikes they rode to premier class glory back in the day. The likes of John Surtees and Giacomo Agostini are also going to attend the major British event.

At the same time, the 2015 Festival of Speed will also accommodate top names from the British and World Superbike series, as well as Isle of Man TT, with many names to be confirmed until the end of June.

If you haven't done so yet, it's time to book your 2015 Goodwood Festival of Speed tickets. Enjoy the stellar atmosphere in the video below.
