It's funny how certain statements made in Twitter posts can leave quite a lot of room for speculations, especially when one can put together certain facts in the right moment.
While we're deep in speculation territory, we could not help noticing one of Adriana Stoner's recent tweets. That's right, THAT Adriana Stoner, Casey Stoner's very wife.

The Oz-based rider and his spouse apparently had a great time in northern Italy, with this being one of the very few trips without their 4-year-old girl.

Adriana posted a photo of her and Casey in the countryside, with a Lamborghini Aventador Roadster behind them, and tweeted: "Days like this tempt me to move back to Europe." Now, the thing that drew attention was the wink emoticon after the text. It may be nothing, but it may also prove to be a quite significant detail.

With Stoner now being a test rider for Ducati Corse, he will be flying all over the world where Bologna will choose to test their Desmosedici GP machine, and will be away from home quite a bit. So the prospect of Adriana and little Ally moving to Europe is not such a wild supposition.

Back on the track?

However, one thing leads to another, and the returning question of whether Casey Stoner will make a MotoGP comeback is impossible to avoid. With the move of Jorge Lorenzo from Yamaha at Ducati making the headline for weeks now, Stoner's rumored return went in the background, but the Ducatisti have not lost their hope.

Ducati officials have been vague, as ever, but reading between the lines, we'd say that they ARE planning a MotoGP wildcard for Stoner in the second half of the championship. Recently, both Stoner and Ducati openly talked about how the Aussie's physical condition was not strong enough to endure multiple test sessions, let alone a race. Now, is it only us who think that they simply refrained from adding something like "but we're working hard on this?"

Now that all the craze with Lorenzo at Ducati and who leaves the team to vacate a seat for him is over, we're back to Stoner and his presence in a race. We are pretty sure that someone at Borgo Panigale is already planning this in secrecy, but when will this happen remains a total mystery.
