Cars Guide Puts the Lexus LS 600h F Sport to the Test

The LS 600 model represents the creme de la creme of Lexus’ luxury and an elegant means of transportation. Coming with even greater looks and features, the sedan is also economical and ecological, should you choose the hybrid version tested down bellow.
The biggest hybrid Lexus for Australia comes in three specs: the LS 600h F Sport at AU$217,900, the five-seater LS 600h L at AU$249,900 and the most luxurious four seater version for AU$259,000.

The Lexus LS 600h F Sport model is powered by a 5-liter V8 engine helped by an electric motor, totaling 327 kW (438 hp) and 520 Nm which is sent through an automatic CVT transmission to the rear wheels. Weighting about 2,300 kg, the luxurious sedan can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 5.7 seconds and despite this staggering numbers, the car manages to average 8.6 l/100 km (27 mpg).
