Cars Are Most Exciting Places to Have Sex, Study Shows

Have you ever found yourself lusting after your significant other or just a member of the opposite sex that’s sitting right next to you? If so, were you stroking the steering wheel, grabbing at the gearstick in an effort to squeeze a little extra potency from your machine? You can probably see where this is going, but we really can’t go much further into details for fear of censorship.

But some people have undoubtedly gone much further, as a recent study has revealed that cars are in fact the most exciting places to have sex. This is according to a recent U.S. Sex Census national survey released by condom maker Trojan, which was quoted in a USA Today article. The company polled a total of 3000 people and found that 48 percent of them say their four-wheeled companions are the most exciting places they’ve had sex in - presumably the inside, but we can’t be sure.

Car sex easily topped other arousing (and a bit guilty) locations, which included someone else’s bed (33 percent), the woods (27 percent) or a hot tub (22 percent).

Interestingly, another mode of transportation can be found in people’s sex fantasies, as 33 percent of men said they’d have liked to but haven’t yet joined the mile-high club... on a plane.

Trojan's Sex Census is based on two studies conducted by StrategyOne from March 15-21, 2011. The first, a national sample of 1,000 10-minute surveys were conducted online among U.S. adults over the age of 18, while the second is a study conducted online in 10 major cities among adults 18+ (New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Boston, San Francisco, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Washington, D.C. Atlanta and Houston). The survey margin of error is +/- 3.1 percent, so almost half the people you know... have a car.
