If you are an American the chances you don’t now Carrie Underwood are very low. The 31-year old country music celebrity is only as famous as they get, nowadays: six Grammys, sixteen Billboards, eleven Academy of Country Music Awards and seven American Music Awards. And on top of it all she also was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song.
With that type of success it was only normal she would get one of the best presents you can find on the market. Although you would’ve expected something more fitted to a lady, like the three-wheeler Can-Am so popular nowadays, we must say this Indian is just delightful. Raffinement is the word for this bike, a vehicle having a lot of power while carrying the latest technology in the field. The motorcycle is powered by the all-new Thunder Stroke 111 cubic inch (1,818 cc) air-cooled v-twin, so we can easily see a pleasant resemblance with the old motors.
We’re looking at a beast that is all wrapped up in high-tech: speedometer with odometer, digital tacho, fuel range ambient air temperature, average fuel economy and 9 LED lights that indicate cruise control and other controls. It is a hell of a ride, we can assure you.
And Carrie nows that considering she tweeted the picture with the caption: ”Well, it’s not every day @mirandalambert buys you a motorcycle! Next stop, motorcyle driving driving lessons!”
Well, considering we’re looking at a $19,000 (EUR 14,300) bike, that is what you call a real friendship.
