Carlsson Goodies for Geneva: S-Klasse Front Spoiler Lip and RS Coilover Kits

As the 2009 Geneva Motor Show is quickly approaching, most companies are rushing to announce their latest goodies set to be showcased at the event. Beside the numerous new models we already heard about, German tuner Carlsson today confirmed it plans to bring several new innovations at Geneva and gave us a glimpse of what to expect.

First of all, there's the front spoiler lip for S-Klasse with AMG bodystyling. The tuner didn't say too much about it but it did publish the price: 579 euros without VAT. Then, there are the RSS coilover kits for C 63 AMG which will cost no less than 2,090 euros excluding VAT. “All Carlsson RS coilover kits are adjustable in height, traction and compression phase,” the German company said.

In addition, Carlsson also plans to display the C-Tronic, “an unique add-on suspension device which offers TUV-homologated height-adjustable electronic lowering for cars with ABC- and Airmatic suspensions,” as it said in a brochure. The price is the same for all models – 990 euros without VAT. “Besides the undeniable sporty appearance the embedded safety mechanism lead to enhanced driving dynamics and at the same time coincide with original equipment safety standards,” it added.

Another highlight worth mentioning is the new Carlsson design line Dark Series light alloy wheels with black finish combined with a finely turned, silvery surface. The alloy wheels are only compatible for S-Klasse, CL-Coupe and GLK-Klasse and come in 9 and 10.5x21-inch. The Dark Series will be sold for 649 and 689 euros, respectively.

The 2009 Geneva Motor Show will open its doors on March 5 and will be available to the general public until March 15. Carlsson will display the aforementioned parts at hall 2, stand 2144.
