Carlsson CK50 Based on E-Klasse Coupe

The renowned specialists in tuning and styling for Mercedes-Benz automobiles were also among the exhibitors at the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show, where they showcased an entire Carlsson individualization kit for the new E-Klasse Coupe (C 207), namely the CK50.

Based on the E 500, the CK50 includes both styling and performance enhancements. The Carlsson engineers managed to boost the car’s performances to 435 horsepower with a maximum torque of 600 Nm.

The engine kit is completed by the sport center exhaust silencer and a sport air filter, while the sport rear exhaust silencer is made of stainless steel and with its two oval end pipes it guarantees a sportive sound and an extra output of 11 horsepower.

The road grip is provided with the help of a coilover suspension which offers a stepless adjustment for damping and vehicle height. However, Carlsson sport springs with a lowering range of 30 millimetres are also available.

Carlsson offers the light alloy rims 1/5 REVO in two-colour varnish and in the size 8.5 x 20 inches at the front- and rear axle with Dunlop tyres measuring 235/30. The exterior styling enhancements include the Carlsson front spoiler and a rear spoiler as well. The Carlsson front spoiler lip RS is delivered optionally in real carbon.

Furthermore, the interior highlights include a various number of accessories, such as the gearstick available in leather/ultra suede, for the steering wheel, a leather/ultra suede cover has been engineered and for the pedals, sporty Carlsson aluminium covers. Moreover, the programme also includes floor mats with an illuminated Carlsson logo.
